In Analogue's darkroom feature, you have the unique experience of developing the negative in an authentic darkroom setting. The process is fun and intuitive, allowing you to choose the strip that offers the best timing and contrast. Similar to a real darkroom, you can manipulate the brightness and darkness of different parts of the image by controlling the amount of light exposed. Additionally, Analogue provides easy-to-follow tutorials on utilizing these tools effectively.

It's important to note that images produced using Analogue will be in black and white, although you do have the option to add toning effects.

The camera feature in Analogue provides a distinctive experience by simulating shooting with a large-format camera where the image appears upside-down. This unique perspective offers greater control over the composition. Just like an old analog camera, the app only offers manual settings and does not support zooming, encouraging you to slow down, resulting in higher-quality photographs. Initially, looking at upside-down images might feel unfamiliar or challenging when determining whether to move the camera left or right for framing. However, with practice, this process becomes more natural.

To expand your options, Analogue recently introduced two more camera models. The Medium-format camera produces square images and operates exclusively in manual mode, similar to the large-format camera. On the other hand, the Small-format camera offers a basic point-and-shoot experience without any additional setup or zooming options.
